Q. What is the Urban Public Health Network
A. The Urban Public Health Network (UPHN) is a network of Medical Officers of Health who represent urban centres across Canada and who have a common interest in addressing urban public health issues.
Q. Who can become a member of the UPHN?
A. Membership is open to urban public health agencies and a request can be forwarded to the Assistant Director who will take it to the network membership for approval. There is no minimum population size for membership. The key elements of the UPHN are its focus on urban public health issues and its national scope.
